Belgian-Kenyan Economic Forum

The Belgian-Kenyan ICT and Health Forums were held on 25th and 26th May 2022, respectively, to have focused dialogue on the current landscape, constraints, and opportunities and explore proposals in the ICT and Healthcare sector through business and investment partnerships and deepen existing collaborations.

Kenya-Hungary Health Summit

The Kenya-Hungary Health Summit was held in September 2021 as a unique opportunity to establish valuable connections, profitable partnerships, and exchange of productive information with Hungarian Medical Device manufacturers, Pharmaceutical Companies, and Health IT providers to define the future of medicine, research, and healthcare through the use of new medical devices and products.

Spanish Musical Night

Trainex hosted a Spanish Musical Night of canapés and cocktails with powerful performances from Spain’s renowned Violinist Santiago Juan and  Guitarist Vicent Ballester, and Kenya’s Ghetto Classics at Tribe Hotel, Nairobi. Guests included diplomatic Ambassadors, Dignitaries, and guests.

How to Thrive in the Digital Era

In collaboration with The Asian Foundation and Kizo Ventures, Trainex organized a Seminar titled “How To Thrive In The Digital Era” by Dr. Nicholas Haan from Singularity University, California highlighting Digital Technologies that are following trends in Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Digital Biology, Digital Manufacturing, Blockchain, And Virtual Reality.

2nd Kenya - Poland Health Summit

Trainex organized The 2nd Kenya-Poland Health Summit which was aimed at establishing valuable connections between Polish and Kenyan entrepreneurs in the Healthcare sector to form long-lasting and profitable partnerships between the two Countries.

Stand-up Comedy Show

Trainex In association with Embracing The World Kenya hosted a Stand-up Comedy Show for charity, to fundraise for the White C(r)ane Project in Kenya that provides visually impaired beneficiaries with free white canes. 

(The White Cane is an assistive device and a universal symbol of independence for the visually impaired, enabling them to navigate their way in confidence and safety).

Negotiation and Entrepreneurship Seminar

Trainex hosted and organized a Corporate Training Seminar by Prof. Samish Dalal highlighting the Topics Of Negotiating and Entrepreneurship. 

Prof. Samish Dalal is an Associate Professor with SP Jain School Of Global Management, rated by Forbes as the Top 20 best International Business Schools in 2013.

OUR CSR INITIATIVES

We partner and collaborate with Embracing The World, a global network of regional humanitarian organizations inspired by the India-based humanitarian initiatives of the Mata Amritanandamayi Math.  Embracing the World Kenya (an affiliation of M.A.Math Charitable Trust Kenya) aims at assisting the vulnerable population in Kenya through various humanitarian projects enlisted below. 

Free Eye Cataract Camps

In collaboration with the Spanish organization - Visio Sense Fronteres, Free Eye Camps are conducted annually across Kenya for the vulnerable population, since 2011. Lions SightFirst Eye Hospital conducts pre-screening tests before the main camp.

The White C(r)ane Project

The White C(r)ane Project initiative in Kenya advocates the voice of the Visually Impaired to create awareness to provide free white canes, employment, and free vaccines to the blind. We continue to fundraise for additional white canes to cater to blind beneficiaries in need of these assistive devices.

Free Meals for Children

Since 2013, a free meals program was initiated every Sunday to feed around 300 underprivileged children who reside near Athi River. This program continues to date through donations/celebrations of a Birthday or Anniversary from Well-wishers.

Primary Day School - Athi River

Free education is provided to around 275 underprivileged children between Std 1 - 8 through the Primary Day School at Amrita Centre Kenya - Athi River. Free Lunch is also provided to the students to ensure a better learning environment.

Vocational and Technical Training

In partnership with CAP YEI (Youth Empowerment Institute) the affiliated NGO has trained more than 3000 Kenyans from low-income families in Vocational and Technical Training that enables them to upscale, gain knowledge, and training for job functions in the Corporate sector for employment locally and internationally.

Water and Sanitation Project

In collaboration with NGO - I Love Africa, toilets were constructed for the vulnerable population in Athi River in 2016. Clean Water and Sanitation is one of the UN SGD goals, it was imperative to assist the vulnerable population in this area to enable them to avail basic livelihood necessities.
